Tell her half of the money is going to be donated to charity.
How do I convince my mom to let me wear Ed Hardy shoes?
I saved up enough allowance to get a pair of Ed Hardy shoes, and my mom won’t let me wear them because they’re designed by a tattoo artist. How do I convince my mom to let me buy Ed Hardy shoes?
Wasting money? She spends $2,000 for a tiny bottle of wine. That’s what I call a waste.

Tell her that she doesn’t make sense. You made the effort to save up for the shoes, so you should be damn well allowed to wear them.
At least they’re not clear high heels.

just tell your mom that even though they are designed by a tattoo artist that you are smart enough to not get one if that is why she wont let you get them. hopefully your mom will understand. if you do get them, they are so comfortable. i have a pair and i love them.

Find an outfit that they go perfectly with…and then show her how well they look…also try telling your mom that just because they’re designed by a tattoo artist doesn’t mean anything…tell her that you are the one that has to wear them and that you really like them

wow…..its just a pair of shoes lol. Um..just buy em…i bet she doesn’t even know what they are….and if she says what are those, just say they are ecko Unlimited or Vans shoes….something like that.

My cousin had the same problem. He wanted something Ed Hardy, but his mom wouldn’t let him cause it was designed by a tattoo artist.
If you want to get down and technical, Don Ed Hardy was a tattoo artist, he never made clothes. Christian Audigier (or whatever lol) makes the clothes with hardy’s designs.
I don’t really like Ed Hardy, but the shoes I do like, Hopefully she will be reasonable and let you get them,
i am a firm believer in that whatever money you get (allowance) should be yours to spend however you like.

Wow, thats why she wont let you have them? Thats weird. I would just tell her that, thats no reason to not let you have them….people with tattoos arnt always bad, and tattoo artists arnt all bad either..thats just prejudist….just keep working on her.*

I know that you are supposed to walk a mile in someone else’s shoes to truly understand them, but think about poor Ed, what will he wear whilst you have his shoes on……slippers?
Sorry, not much help really I know, but surely a pair of shoes is a pair of shoes, why waste ten times the money because everyone tells you Ed Hardy is so cool, find a nice pair of shoes that you like for the design, the cut, the comfort and the durability, not a pair that are 10% substance and 90% bullshit and then maybe your Mum will be a bit more understanding.
Sorry not to agree with you I just hate wasting money (and suspect your Mum feels the same).
Good luck

Just keep begging until she’s ready to climb up the wall and go insane.
Hopefully, she’ll give in at that point.
